GONOE X NEHERA COLLABORATION

Collaboration has always been at the heart of GONOE’s creative journey, and this year we had the privilege of partnering with Slovakia’s most respected fashion house NEHERA. What began as a shared dialogue about sustainability, innovation, and the value of craftsmanship evolved into a truly inspiring project: NEHERA’s first upcycled collection, created in collaboration with us.

NEHERA’s philosophy has long been rooted in timeless design, responsibility, and respect for materials, values that deeply resonate with our own approach at GONOE. When we were invited to upcycle archive pieces from NEHERA’s previous collections, as well as stock fabrics and materials, we saw it as a rare opportunity to merge heritage with experimentation. Our goal was to breathe new life into existing garments, not by erasing their past, but by allowing their history to become part of something new.

Through deconstruction, dying process, reassembly, and innovative textile manipulation, we aimed to highlight the tension between precision and imperfection, tradition and reinvention. The result is a capsule that embodies both brands’ identities: NEHERA’s quiet sophistication intertwined with GONOE’s raw, forward-thinking design language.

We are immensely grateful to NEHERA for their trust and openness throughout this journey. Working together has been an honour and a profound learning experience, reaffirming our belief that sustainability is not a limitation, but a catalyst for creativity.

As we continue to evolve, this collaboration stands as a milestone, one that reflects our commitment to innovation, responsibility, and the continual redefinition of what contemporary Slovak fashion can represent.
